East Chapel Hill High School MRCF Club

Our Mission

MRCF Club is a student-led organization that provides its members with opportunities to provide service, build character and develop leadership. We provide our members with opportunities to serve, build character, and develop leadership skills.  In doing so, we grow as individuals and as leaders by answering the call to lead, summoning the courage to engage, and developing the heart to serve.

Core Values

Leadership is grounded in humility and service to others. A true leader listens, recognizes, and empowers.

Character Building

Character is built by everyday acts of kindness, integrity, and teamwork to grow stronger relationships and communities.

Compassion for others is a cornerstone of MRCF Club experience, inspiring action and service to one’s community.

We welcome people of all backgrounds and ethnicities to join in serving and making a positive difference in our world.

We commit to working together and with our stakeholders toward enhancing youth development.

We commit to action, innovation & transformation within our community and in our own organization.

We Learn Through Action

High school student members of MRCF perform acts of service in the communities such as fundraisers, Backpack Drives, Financial Literacy Workshops and more. They also learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects, and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district, and international levels.

MRCF Club volunteers with our Annual 5K Walk & Run with The Angels in March of each year. We are always seeking volunteers to support this event.

We are also planning several car wash events this fall starting in August here in Chapel Hill raising awareness and monies to support both the Backpack and Academic Scholarship Programs.
